So Ben turned one yesterday! It was tons of fun, he had no problem devouring his little chocolate cupcake. Twenty-five close family members and friends helped up celebrate! He now has a huge inventory of cars and trucks and fun toys to last him a long time. Thanks everyone who helped us celebrate!

I loved your thoughts on the media and how they are trying to manipulate the views on the war. I always thought the media was supposed to present facts in an unbiased way and to try to keep morale up during difficult times. Apparently, the media is trying to change society's perception of our country to an "if you are patriotic, you are a fool" type of thing. Well, thanks for letting me vent! :0)
